WHO I AM
Hi! Thanks for stopping in! I am a wife, mom to five grown kids and grandma to ten ranging from toddler to mid-twenties! Oh, and a fur-mom to our tenacious terrier, Bailey. My hubby and I are retired missionaries now living in up-state New York. Where I sit and dream of stories to write!
My YA book, Bronze Circle was a finalist in the 2022 Genesis contest! See the summary of it below. Last year I signed Bronze Circle with Elk Lake Publishing Inc. and it is now out!
MY BOOKS
The Bronze Circle, my first book, is a YA dystopian/fantasy with a faith-based world view. Sixteen-year-old Jaydon just wants to know what really happened the night his house burned down, and his parents disappeared. The Order continually tells him it was a result of his parents' treasonous actions. When he is challenged to be Keeper of the Book of Truth by a fantastic bird-like messenger sent from the Truth Master, he must decide. Will he continue to adhere to manipulative Order dogma, or follow in his parents' footsteps? I can't wait to share the rest of Jaydon's story and the people he meets along the way to finding out who he is before the Truth Master! I'm excited that I have a sequel to Bronze Circle started! The sequel, Silver Towers, will continue Jaydon and his friend's story.

I also have a book almost completed that will be a tad different than Jaydon's story. Listen For The Star is a story about Ava. Driven to the bowels of the earth in the year 1914 by a biological attack, the society of York has developed into a four-division caste system. Seventeen-year-old Ava, along with others seeking life in the light-and freedom to be who they want to be-rebel against the system and plan a way to escape from the belly of York. But to do that they must beat the system, avoid the Green-eyed monster and figure out what the message, “Listen for the Star” means.
Keep watch for more news about my books!
